Jim caught this big ole Fall Chinook on the Smith River in Northern California. He was fishing with a bait of row and a sand shrimp. Nice job Buddy :-) |

Umpqua River Reedsport area Chinook fishing has been very good However, as of the writing of this report the bite has slowed down.. Winchester bay area Chinook fishing is very good again the bite has slowed down.. Coos bay area crabbing and bottom fishing has been good Chinook fishing on the Coos has been fair to good, but the coos had a couple red hot days about a two weeks ago... Rogue River at Gold beach Chinook fishing has been slow to fair Very heavy fishing pressure Bottom fishing has been good Brookings area Bottom fishing has been good Crabbing has been fair
